Dr. Dina M. Green
Founder | Psychotherapist | Trauma & Relationship Specialist

Dr. Dina Green is a licensed clinical social worker, psychotherapist, and founder of Green Haus Therapy, bringing nearly two decades of experience in mental health, trauma, and relational healing. With a Ph.D. focused on trauma and disaster relief and an educational background in marriage and family therapy, her work is grounded in a deep understanding of how our experiences, particularly those within meaningful relationships, shape our emotional well-being, sense of self, and ability to connect with others.

At the heart of Dr. Green's clinical work is a particular interest in betrayal trauma, attachment wounds, and the emotional aftermath of painful relationships. She recognizes that betrayal can leave wounds that extend far beyond the relationship itself, often affecting one's ability to trust, feel emotionally secure, establish healthy boundaries, and navigate future connections. Whether someone is healing from infidelity, broken trust, emotional abandonment, or recurring unhealthy relationship patterns, she is passionate about helping clients make sense of their experiences without allowing those experiences to define their future.

Dr. Green recognizes that some of our deepest emotional wounds emerge within the relationships that shape our lives, whether romantic partnerships, family connections, friendships, or other meaningful bonds. Her approach to relational healing explores how early attachment experiences, unresolved emotional injuries, and patterns of disconnection can influence the way we trust, communicate, establish boundaries, and navigate intimacy and vulnerability. Integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed care, she helps clients gain insight into these patterns, process painful relational experiences, and develop healthier ways of connecting with themselves and others, through a personalized and collaborative approach.

Born and raised in New York City, Dr. Green brings warmth, authenticity, and a grounded, conversational style to the therapeutic relationship. She believes therapy should feel like a genuine exchange rather than a clinical interrogation. Her sessions are collaborative, engaging, and rooted in honest conversation, creating space for clients to feel comfortable expressing themselves while also being encouraged to explore difficult emotions, challenge familiar patterns, and consider new perspectives.

While compassion and understanding are central to her approach, Dr. Green also believes that meaningful growth requires self-awareness, accountability, and sometimes the courage to confront uncomfortable truths. She strives to balance empathy with thoughtful challenges, helping clients move beyond simply understanding what happened to them and begin exploring how they want to move forward.

As the founder of Green Haus Therapy, Dr. Green has created a practice rooted in the belief that healing deserves a space where people can feel seen, supported, and understood. She recognizes that the path toward healing is rarely straightforward and that rebuilding a relationship with oneself can be just as important as repairing connections with others.

Her philosophy is simple: Healing is not about erasing what happened to you. It's about understanding how those experiences have shaped you, reclaiming your sense of self, and discovering that your past does not have to determine the relationships you build or the life you create.

Monét Dove, LMSW
Emotional Wellness | Relationships | Life Transitions

Life doesn't always unfold the way we imagined. Relationships change, unexpected challenges arise, and sometimes the weight of navigating it all can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about our next steps. During these moments, having a space where you can feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood can make a meaningful difference.

Monét is a Licensed Master Social Worker who brings warmth, authenticity, and a refreshingly down-to-earth perspective to therapy. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, she combines compassion, honesty, and a little NYC realness to create an environment where clients can show up exactly as they are, without fear of judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.

Her approach is rooted in the belief that therapy should feel like a genuine human connection rather than a one-sided conversation. She values creating a collaborative space where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences, exploring their emotions, and developing a deeper understanding of themselves. While Monét meets clients with empathy and acceptance, she also recognizes that meaningful growth sometimes requires stepping outside of familiar patterns. Through thoughtful questions, gentle challenges, and honest reflection, she encourages clients to explore uncomfortable truths, recognize behaviors that may no longer serve them, and discover new possibilities for moving forward.

Monét's clinical interests include emotional wellness, relationship dynamics, life transitions, and personal growth. She is passionate about helping clients better understand how their experiences influence the way they think, feel, communicate, and connect with others.

Whether someone is navigating relationship difficulties, struggling with emotional regulation, processing past experiences, or seeking greater clarity about their identity and direction in life, Monét strives to provide a supportive space for exploration and change.

She earned her Master of Social Work from Adelphi University and began practicing in 2024. Her therapeutic approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care. By integrating these approaches, she helps clients explore unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen emotional awareness, develop practical coping strategies, and build healthier ways of responding to life's challenges.

Outside of her professional work, Monét enjoys immersing herself in culture, art, music, food, and fashion. Her appreciation for creativity, individuality, and self-expression carries into her therapeutic philosophy: there is no single path toward healing, and every person's journey deserves to be honored.

Above all, Monét believes therapy can be both meaningful and human. There is room for vulnerability, difficult conversations, self-discovery, and even laughter along the way.
